Why daily SPF matters for dark spots
The simplest step that keeps pigment from coming back.
1 minute to read
Sun keeps pigment active
UV and visible light both switch on melanin production. Even a short walk at midday is enough to darken spots you have been working to fade, whatever your skin tone.
What to look for
Choose broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher. Tinted formulas with iron oxides add protection against visible light, which matters most for melasma and deeper skin tones.
Two finger lengths of sunscreen covers the face and neck.

Make it a habit
Apply it as the last step of your morning routine and reapply when you are outdoors for long stretches. A texture you enjoy wearing is the one you will actually use every day.
